What do I need to bring to a CCW class?
For CCW certification, you must bring a valid state-issued photo ID (Driver's License), a qualifying handgun in a safe container, and at least 50 rounds of factory ammunition. Rentable handguns and range ammo are available for purchase at our counter if needed. Please wear closed-toe shoes and high-necked shirts for safety on the range.
Which states recognize the Nevada Concealed Carry permit?
A Nevada CCW permit is widely respected and recognized in approximately 30+ states. In our 8-Hour class, we also offer the option to include Utah CCW permit training, which expands your reciprocity footprint. State recognition lists change regularly, so we review current reciprocity maps in detail during the class.
I have never shot a gun. Which class should I take?
If you are an absolute beginner, we highly recommend booking the First-Time Shooter 1-on-1 Experience. A dedicated, patient instructor will walk you through operations, safety procedures, and shoot side-by-side with you. Taking this class builds core safety habits before entering a larger CCW certification class.
How long are CCW certifications valid in Nevada?
Nevada concealed carry permits are valid for 5 years from the date of issue. To keep your permit active, you must complete the 4-Hour Re-Qualification Class and submit your renewal paperwork to the local Sheriff's office before your current card's expiration date.
